Education has no substitute, one is either educated or not. AID as an advocacy and development oriented organization, our commitment and work around education and it related issues remains a priority. As a very vital component to nation’s sustainable growth, we believe it must be embraced by all.
AID continues to provide support to primary and secondary school girls in the Arusha rural community in Tanzania in the form of tuition fees, school uniforms, shoes and books.
Funds raised through the GlobalGiving platform helped provide additional books and other school supplies for 10 primary school girls. It is still clear that nearly half (47%) of primary school aged girls are not attending school. In this light, AID Tanzania is determined to change this narrative by helping to create an education infrastructure needed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of girls in the country.
We continue to thank our partners and friends who donated their hard-earned cash towards this project. Please be rest assured that through your generous support, you're positively impacting the lives of young girls in Arusha, Tanzania.
Let me use this opportunity to wish all our partners and friends who've been supporting this project Happy Holidays and prosperios New Year!
