Creating the education infrastructure needed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young girls in Africa requires a multi prong approach with efforts lasting years, if not decades.
It is against this backdrop that AID Tanzania continues to provide support in the form of tuition fees, school uniforms, shoes, books to both primary and secondary school going girls in the Arusha rural community.
Funds raised through the GlobalGiving platform have been used to provide additional books and other school supplies for 20 primary school girls. It is still clear that nearly half (47%) of primary school aged girls are not attending school.
Our organization is determined to change this by helping to create an education infrastructure needed to make a meaningful difference in the lives of girls across the country.
