The African Impact Foundation works to implement long-term, positive change in Africa. Since 2008, we have been committed to 'Educate, Enrich and Empower' individuals and communities in South Africa, Zambia and Tanzania. Our 5 main areas of focus are: Education and Enrichment, Health and Nutrition, Empowering Families, Gender Equality and Conservation.
South African, Tanzanian and Zambian communities that we work with, often lack access to quality education, health services, nutritious food or safe places to play. Without these basic necessities, it is difficult for individuals and families to feel empowered to better themselves. African women and girls experience some of the biggest social challenges on the planet, while the deterioration of our natural environment and endangerment of species worsens every year.
AIF provides access to education and health services, improving nutrition or creating a safe environment where children can play and learn. Projects are designed to offer pathways out of poverty with a special focus on building gender equality. Conservation and research grow the protection of endangered species, while targeted farming and conservation workshops aim to empower people to live harmoniously with wildlife and in their natural environments.
Our aim is to continue working with communities to improve the lives of the individuals and families who live there, and the environment that surrounds them. To ensure the sustainability and longevity of the African Impact Foundation as a whole, all donations made during COVID-19 will be used to support all of our projects and operations across Southern and Eastern Africa.
