You have made a huge impact for students like Steven!
You sent him to school. You put a pencil in his hand. And you gave him the opportunity to discover what he wanted to be.
This month Steven graduated from his vocational program in construction!
It is so fitting that he will be a builder because, thanks to you, he is part of the generation of youth who will build up their community.
It was amazing builders like Steven who made your biology and computer labs at the Nyaka Vocational Secondary School a reality. Now your students who want to pursue science, engineering, technology, and math have the tools they need to succeed! Your biology lab is like no other lab in the entire region. Your computer lab will give your students access to the world!
Building up a community starts will building up its youth. Your students have big challenges to face as they work to change their community. They have to overcome poverty, lack of resources, and corruption. Gratefully, you are preparing them to overcome these obstacles. You are shaping and empowering them to be the leaders who will come up with creative solutions. It will not be an easy road towards change but your students are ready to do it.
Because of you, Steven and all of your students will be builders.
