Let's Take a Journey!

By Jackson Kaguri | Executive Director & Founder

Holiday greetings from Nyaka and Kutamba students in Uganda!

Over the past few years you have invested in our children and grannies and that fills me with gratitude.  Today I am asking you to reinvest in their lives.  A generous gift of any size will make a huge impact on their livelihood and happiness.  Please consider donating $75 or more today.  It is enough to provide a student with a school uniform, socks, shoes, and undergarments and a girl with necessary sanitary products and medicine for a year!

Please come with me on a journey to Uganda.

Imagine the sounds of little feet running through the grass after walking hours over hilly dirt roads to school.

See their purple and green uniforms tenderly cared for by their grandmothers.

See the smiles YOU bring to their faces!

Twelve years ago, the doors opened at the Nyaka Primary School for 56 orphaned students.

Today, 12 years later, you are educating more than 600 students as well as assisting thousands of grannies and their grandchildren in the surrounding community.

In addition to all of these programs YOU have come to love and know, we are building a Secondary and Vocational Training School and many of our resources this year have been dedicated to the beginning stage of this project.  Over the next five years the school will save the organization money, but the next three years are critical in funding both the building of the school and our current programs.

Giving generously today will ensure this happens.

Now, please take a moment to think about what your education has done for you. Think of the opportunities it has provided you, the relationships and connections it allowed you to make, and how it made you who you are today. Think about how grateful you are for your education.

I implore you to invest greatly in YOUR students’ lives today, so that they too can earn a higher wage and change their community.

This short video kicks off our six-week storytelling series we have made especially for you.  This week's video is less than 2 minutes long and is sure to fill you with gratitude. Enjoy it and share it with your family and friends!
