High quality education for children in Uganda

Last week was graduation week at Nyaka!  

We had several students who graduated with bachelors degrees from Makerere University and Makerere University Business School in Kampala. After secondary school, we are proud to make sure our alumni are supported in their higher education goals. 

Our graduates: 

• Arthur Akampereza embarked on his education journey at Nyaka’s Kutamba Primary School in 2008. Last week, he graduated from Makerere University with his bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Fine Art.

• Ronald Niwamanya joined Nyaka Primary School in 2003 and has been part of our family since. Last week, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Makerere University Business School.

• Akampwera Champion graduated with a bachelor’s degrees in Business Computing from Makerere University Business School.

• Penelope Kyomugisha graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Economics from Makerere University.

• Daphne Nabaasa and Vanessa Asiimwe both graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Makerere University. 

• Batamuriza Maria graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Makerere University.

We were grateful to have all these alumni return to Nyaka to join us for a celebration lunch! Congratulations to all our graduates. We are so proud of these empowered ladies and gentlemen, and we believe that they too will carry it forward and contribute massively to their communities. We can’t thank you enough for your continued support of their journeys and education over the years. Thank you for believing in their dreams!
