Welcoming our first 9th grade class

By MOCF | US Board

Our inaugural 9th grade class
Our inaugural 9th grade class

We're nearly three months into the new school year in Kenya, and we’re excited to share a big milestone: for the first time, we’ve added a 9th grade class!

This change comes in response to Kenya’s new education structure, which introduced “junior secondary school” for grades 7-9. By expanding to include 9th grade, we’re ensuring our students are well-prepared to transition into secondary school (grades 10–12). It's one more way we’re adapting to give our students the strongest possible foundation.

Thank you for your continued support. Your generosity helps us grow and evolve alongside our students’ needs. We couldn't do it without you.

With gratitude,
The Margaret Okari Children's Foundation Team
