As Challenges Turn into Blessings

Dear Supporter,

We are used to  hearing about the chllenges that people experience. Sometimes it is numbing. If we took everything to heart, it would hurt too much. Thankfully, we are resilliant and those who are on the ground dealing with the day to day are heroes who need help feeling that others care too. Every day they face challenges but rise to the difficulties with heartfelt love and your donations. .

My favorite thing about New Light is the founder pictured recently with the Dalai Lama. Urmi's steady hand provides stability and a future to children who would otherwise be in the streets. At New Light the children experience holidays and field trips like other children.  Could there be any other program that you donate to that is as effective and loving?

I've worked in the field in Africa and Asia and now that I'm semi retired and have not been paid as an Executive Director for over ten years but my heart is still there. My grattitude goes to those on the ground who deal with the day to day experience that change the life of children whose fate would certainly have been as tragic as their mother's.

Thank you for all you do to change the future of India's youth.

Thank you for caring!

Shana
