Dear Friends,
The mission at New Light is to serve and create hope for the relatively forgotten children of the streets. They hope to stay alive; to have meals every day, and healthcare when sick. The goal and hope is for the children of the red light district to develop as adults who contribute to society. New Light with your help brings hope among the most marginalized .. the most forgotten.
Besides food and healthcare, the goal is to help children express their creativity and develop as fully realized beings. Last October, the children were gifted with drawing materials that encouraged them to express themselves and develop a love for art in their learning journey.
They are happy little souls who love one another and understand that everyone who contributes to New Light wants the same thing for them that they do for any child who suffers the pain of being born in poverty.
Next month, we believe we have enough to gift each child with a pair of shoes. No one at Village Volunteers is paid so we are able to do everything we can with the funds you so generously donate.
Thank you!
