Thank you for donating to New Light in the past. We are launching a campaign to support the children of sex workers and those who are victimized by human trafficking. The mission of the campaign will be to build a new shelter, while your continued support will help provide education and opportunities that protects young girls, children and women at high risk in one of the oldest red light districts of Kolkata in West Bengal, India.
If you read Nicolas Kristof's book Half the Sky, than you know of New Light India and what an amazing job Urmi Basu is doing to break the cycle of sex trafficking. Your money does a "world of good"
This is just one story of a young girl, Supriya Majhi, receiving support for a better future.
