The Hope Children's Home is situated in the sprawling Kawangware slum in Nairobi. Through the kind generosity of donors like you, the home provides accommodation and care for 50 orphaned and abandoned children some of whom are as young as two years. The home also facilitates their education starting from early childhood education through primary and high school.
The last quarter has been an exceptionally challenging one for the children’s home which usually operates on a shoestring budget. Despite the challenges, everyone involved remains hopeful of a turnaround. All is not gloom however, as through your support, 15 of the younger children each received a new set of school uniforms. They are now able to proudly lift their heads high as they go to school warmly dressed and focus on their education rather than their lack.
Donors like you help provide an elementary education and upkeep for the destitute children in the slums of Nairobi. You are not just providing education and a safe place to call home but in a seemingly hopeless situation, you are giving them hope for a brighter future.
We are deeply grateful for your continued support!
