End of Year Updates

Dear Upendo supporters,

Thank you for your continued support to our project. We are happy to report to you that 11 students out of the 22 orphans did their KCSE examinations in December, 2022 and passed. They all qualified to join different universities and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.

Pius joined Chuka University to study a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Statistics.

Purity joined Masinga Technical and Vocational College to study Journalism.

Maureen joined Kenya Coast National Polytechnic to study Social Work.

Margaret joined Godoma Technical Training Institute to study Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy.

John will join Mkwajuni Polytechnic to study Electrical Engineering.

Shadrack will join Coast Institute of Technology in January to study Electrical Engineering.

The rest are awaiting admission into various colleges and universities in the country.

Several others are still in secondary school and are also doing well.
