Faith Is Discovering What Her Future Can Hold
Faith’s story reminds us why a girl’s education takes more than a place in a classroom. To learn and grow, she also needs to feel safe, have food during the school day, receive care when she needs it, and know that her teachers believe in her.
At Cornerstone Preparatory Academy, Faith has those supports. She is engaged in her studies and takes part in school activities. Over the past year, her teachers have watched her confidence grow as she has begun to imagine what she might do after graduation.
For girls in the communities we serve, poverty can make it difficult to remain in school. Naomi’s Village works to address those barriers through education, daily meals, transportation, healthcare, and caring relationships with teachers and staff. Faith’s progress shows what becomes possible when those supports are there consistently.
There is still much ahead for Faith to learn and decide for herself. We are grateful that she has a school where she can keep asking questions, building her skills, and exploring her hopes for the future.
Thank you for caring about girls like Faith. Your support helps Naomi’s Village provide the education and daily care that allow girls to stay in school and discover what they can achieve.
