Today we celebrate our volunteer teachers and mentors who worked tirelessly in the partner schools to improve the academic standards of students. We have witnessed improved performance by students who sat for the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education and going by the results posted by the various partner schools and individual students supported by the program, we are happy that our efforts are successful. We are truly changing and improving lives of individuals in Ruaraka community.
In 2022, we conducted mentorship program in 8 schools and engaged 20 volunteer teachers to supplement the teaching force in these schools. 78 candidates benefitted from our program during the period and here is a summary of how they performed.
Our volunteers will continue to play influencing role in Ruaraka community to ensure that assignments and learning resources are given to the students we are supporting in our program. We will continue to directly provide free teaching assistance and support to underprivileged students through mentorship and organising extra-curricular activities.
It is envisioned that more students from the 8 partner schools will directly and indirectly benefit from the project and complete schooling with a high level of literacy and core skills, enabling them to succeed in life.
