Educate and empower, change a life in Kenya project continue to make a positive change in the lives of school students in Ruaraka.
This quarter our report is about eight students we enrolled in our mentorship and tuition fee program and through the support of generous donors like you, they continued to show great improvement in their performances. Our volunteer teachers and mentors were engaged in four partner schools with the aim of teaching and guiding them towards improved academic standards and constructive life.
With the $625 donations received during the quarter,
• We purchased school kits and classroom essentials for 32 students.
• We paid tuition fee for 8 students in Ruaraka
• We facilitated 4 volunteer teachers and 2 mentors in the four informal partner schools
Because of your support, the 8 students (Beatrice A, Kennedy O, Paul K, Samuel W, Peris O, Violet A, Mary P, Mark M) received a better education. All four schools that your donations helped provide extra teachers reported that the volunteer teachers and mentors are working hard and easing the workload. A few teachers have said that the support given by Progressive Volunteers and driven by you has motivated the staff and students.
We salute you for being part of this noble education initiative and we hope you remain involved with us and committed to our cause.
