We sincerely thank GlobalGiving for their generous support. This funding has allowed us to provide assistive devices to our beneficiaries, significantly increasing student participation and fostering independence. These devices enable visually impaired students to access and store information from libraries worldwide as well as online resources.
Assistive technology is a comprehensive term that includes assistive products, related systems, and services. It plays a crucial role in promoting inclusion, participation, and engagement for people with disabilities, the elderly, and individuals living with chronic conditions, across all aspects of family, community, and societal life—including educational, social, economic, and political domains.
At IAB, our goal is to ensure that visually challenged students have access to the right devices that make their daily lives easier and allow them to work alongside sighted peers on the same platforms.
Access to technology is both a pressing need and a long-cherished goal for marginalized communities. While education is increasingly moving to virtual platforms, having the right knowledge and devices is essential for children to fully participate and succeed in their learning.
On behalf of our organization and the students we serve, we are deeply grateful for your generosity and support. Your contribution is making a meaningful difference in their lives.
