Bringing Smiles on Million's Through Education

Bringing Smile on Millions through Education

Education is a basic human right, but for a developing country like Bangladesh, we need to pay more attention on female education in particular. It is a very common exercise in rural households not to send their young daughters to schools as they believe females are born to solely run households or to work as a maid for earnings. To have such a belief in the year of 2019 is alarming and that is why the education system in our country is in dire need of definite change. It is highly crucial to bring up young girls in our country as educated women for a better nation. Due to receiving education, these young girls will have some set of skills which can act as a base of attaining specialized skills in future. When women finally decide to start a family, they are more likely to recognize the importance of education and ensure education for their children as well. Battling from the poverty is a dream of every underprivileged children and education is the way that can turn this dream into something big. Today, JAAGO foundation is trying to remove the cycle of poverty by providing the quality education with the help of your love and support.

At present, there are more than 60% female students are attending JAAGO school. Only Education can help these young girls to be someone they never imaged.

Inspirational Story of Lamia

Twelve-year-old Lamia clenched her teeth, anticipating her next pang of hunger. On days like this, when her father’s asthma acted up and he did not have the strength to pull his rickshaw, they were forced to drink water all day and maybe one biscuit. She did not blame her father though. She focused instead on her studies, letting her hunger fuel her motivation. She was glad to be a part of the JAAGO School. It was easier to ignore the rumblings of her stomach when she’s busy accumulating knowledge. 10 years later Lamia has passed the SSC exam with flying colors. She wants to continue to study and become an Architect.
