A girl can be a force of nature, but is often discouraged from being so.
Society often discourages girls from claiming education, opportunity and power — all markers of success. But in a world that constantly discourages women from taking leadership, some girls are fighting back, stepping up as advocates in their local communities.
Educate a Girl (EAG), Nigeria, #EAGNigeria is about giving girls in need the ability to transform their lives, enter the workforce & have a voice. We still remember that when our team was planning for the session, we just had one thing in mind that we want to bring positive change in everyone’s life. We want to transform the lives of these girls we are going to educate.
We thank you so much in helping us in this process. As we speak to more and more girls who have gone through this process with us, we are amazed with their guts and their grit.
We are now in the process of working to match some of our alumni with mentors, while fundraising with your help to educate more girls.
Together, we are transforming lives!
