Sukrupa Education Centre organized a Textbook Distribution Programme for students of Grades 1 to 10,The event commenced with an address by the Head Mistress, followed by a speech from the Chief Administrative Officer. Class teachers, discipline teachers, the PT Master, and Senior Master Mr. Ramanjeneya also spoke, providing parents with essential updates and guidance.The meeting covered several key points, including textbook distribution procedures, important documentation requirements, SATS registration, academic expectations, school policies, and other related matters. To ensure an orderly process, distribution was scheduled at different times for each class.The event concluded successfully, with all students receiving their textbooks. Parents expressed their appreciation and shared valuable feedback with the class teachers. The programme was well-coordinated and proceeded smoothly.
2. SUKRUPA Visit to ARM – July 15, 2025
On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, A SUKRUPA team comprising Mr. Sathiaseelan M. (CAO), Mr. Mohammed Azam (HR Manager & EA to CEO), Mr. R. Gopinath (Paper Unit Manager), Ms. Shalini (Assistant PT Teacher), Mr. Raghavedra Rao (Bus Driver), and twenty students from Grades 9 and 10 visited the ARM Marathahalli office on July 15, 2025. The team departed at 1:15 PM and arrived at 2:45 PM.The visit began with lunch in Kaveri Hall, followed by participation in the ARM graduates’ induction program. Mr. Sathiaseelan delivered a welcome address about SUKRUPA’s mission, and Mr. Mohammed Azam presented a video and overview of the organization’s initiatives. A short skit performed by SUKRUPA students highlighted SUKRUPA’s impact on community development.Group activities, including a quiz, singing and a placard lamination demonstration, encouraged active interaction between SUKRUPA students and ARM graduates. Three graduates expressed interest in volunteering with SUKRUPA.The visit concluded with group photographs. Biscuits were distributed to students, tea was served to staff, and ARM presented laminate sheets and placards to SUKRUPA as a token of appreciation.
3. Student Coucil Elections- 21st July 2025
The Student Council Election was held on 21st July 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with the objective of electing student leaders and creating awareness about democratic voting. Positions included Head Boy, Head Girl, their assistants, and committee leaders for Discipline, Sports, and Cultural activities.The election was overseen by the Election Commissioner, Mr. Sathiaseelan (CAO), Election Officer Ms. Sushama (HM), and Supervisor Mr. Ramanjeneya, along with designated committees for nominations, polling, student affairs, and discipline. Campaigning took place on 19th July after nomination and scrutiny.Voting was conducted through ballot sheets for students from Grade 1 to Grade 10. Out of 372 eligible voters, 338 cast their votes, resulting in a turnout of 90.8%. Participation included 93% of girls and 88% of boys, reflecting strong engagement.The election process was orderly and smooth. Students gained practical understanding of leadership, citizenship, and democratic values. The elected representatives will now contribute to school activities and student welfare.
4. 79th Independence Day - 15th August 2025
Sukrupa Education Centre celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on Friday, August 15, 2025. The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Co-Founder Ms. Sugunamani, along with Mr. Sathiaseelan CAO, whose presence added dignity and inspiration to the celebration.Teachers reported at 6:30 am to begin preparations for the event. The designated teachers decorated Block 1 with flowers, rangoli and patriotic themes, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. Students began arriving at 7:00 am. The Chief Guest arrived at 7:30 am and was warmly welcomed by the Head Mistress, teachers and students.The celebration commenced with a procession from Block 2 to Block 1 at 7:35 am, led by the Chief Guest. The 10th Grade students performed a well-coordinated march past and band display, which set a disciplined and spirited tone for the event. The National Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest at 7:45 am, followed by the singing of the National Anthem by all those present. Immediately after, a lamp-lighting ceremony was conducted to symbolize knowledge, hope and progress. The Chief Guest lit the lamp accompanied by the Head Mistress, teachers and staff members.A cultural program followed, showcasing the artistic talents of students across various grades. The highlight of the event was a series of taboo performances depicting the journey of India from its ancient civilization to the present era. The themes included: Ancient India, The First War of Independence, Jallianwala Bagh, Non-Cooperation Movement, Simon Commission, Dandi March, Quit India Movement, Independence in 1947, Formation of States, Five Year Plans and Present India. These presentations were informative and emotionally moving, offering students and parents a visual narrative of India’s history and struggle for freedom.The younger students also participated enthusiastically. Nursery and LKG children dressed as famous freedom fighters, and the UKG students performed a spirited dance to the song “Jai Ho”, adding charm and energy to the event. The celebration concluded at 10:00 am with an impressive drill and pyramid formation by high school boys. Following the event, sweets sponsored by Anand Sweets were distributed to all students, parents and staff.The Independence Day celebration at Sukrupa Education Centre was conducted with great pride and devotion, reflecting deep patriotic fervor among students and teachers. The presence of the Chief Guest made the occasion memorable and encouraging for all. The event successfully fostered a strong sense of national pride, unity and awareness among the students about India’s rich history and the responsibilities of being citizens of this nation.
5. Science Quiz Competition - 30th August 2025
The Science Quiz Competition was conducted on 30th August 2025 at Sukrupa Education Centre with the objective of enhancing scientific knowledge, logical thinking, and quick decision-making skills among students. The event aimed to nurture curiosity in science and to foster a spirit of healthy competition among participants.Participants for the quiz were selected from Grade 8 to Grade 10. They were divided into four house groups: Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow, with each team having equal representation from the participating classes. The quiz consisted of multiple rounds covering topics from general science, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The rules ensured equal participation and fair competition among the teams. The team with the highest total score at the end of all rounds was declared the winner.The program began with a brief introduction emphasizing the relevance of scientific learning in daily life. The rounds were conducted by the science teachers in a systematic and fair manner. The students participated enthusiastically, showcasing strong knowledge, teamwork, and quick thinking. The competition created an engaging and encouraging atmosphere that highlighted the students’ interest in science.After a closely contested series of rounds, the Red Group secured the First Prize with an outstanding performance. The Blue and Yellow Groups shared the Second Position, while the Green Group took the Third Position.In conclusion, the Science Quiz Competition was a success, as it enriched students’ scientific understanding and promoted confidence, critical thinking, and cooperative learning. The event proved to be both educational and inspiring for all participants.
