Celebrating 72 years of Independence

It was a day filled with love, happiness and joy. The children dressed in bright white uniforms marched through the neighborhood attracting people from far and near. As they marched with the sounds of drums, snares and cymbals people came out of their homes to grace the procession. Parents, teachers, friends, siblings and dear ones took pride in coming together to celebrate this great day and making it a memorable one.

We thank all our supporters for their love and encouragement.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

Every year on October 2, India celebrates the birth of its iconic leader Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. He has been given the title of ‘Father of the Nation’ for his relentless hard work that helped India attain freedom. By remembering him on this day, celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti, we pay tribute to this great leader. An awareness program was conducted for the children with skit and speeches organized in the school performed by the children.

Dussehra Festival celebration

The Hindu festival of Dussehra, Navratri and Vijayadashami celebrates the victory of good over evil celebrated across the country. In Karnataka it is a big festival celebrated for 10 days across cities of Bengaluru and Mysuru. At SUKRUPA we celebrated it with festivity where children performed a skit stories were narrated to them about the significance of the festival.

Children’s Day celebration

Children's Day is celebrated on the 14th of November in India as a tribute to Jawaharlal Nehru, who was born on November 14, 1889. Jawaharlal Nehru, who was fondly called Chachaji, was known for his love for children. At SUKRUPA it’s a day all children await. The teachers made the day special for the children with fun activities, games and gifts. The teachers made special greeting cards for the kids and chocolates were distributed among children and celebrate.

Vlocity visits SUKRUPA

It was wonderful day for the children at SUKRUPA. We were proud to have the Vlocity Team spending their time with our children and engaging them with fun activities and creativity. We thank Vlocity for making it a memorable day for all of us at SUKRUPA.

SuJanavikas in collaboration with Myrada

As part of SuJanavikas, empowering women through entrepreneurship we has the Inauguration of our skill development in tailoring and Micro Enterprise program in collaboration with Myrada. We look forward towards a year filled with greater growth and success in this project where women would be trained with skills and empowered to become independent.
