During the first half of the year we have been involved in more distribution of books. Working with our partners we rolled out books for children in schools and 6 more villages. These books were used during our 2 day bootcamp in Sawudweni, line western Zimbabwe.During the 2 days bootcamp focal persons engaged children in basic Mathematics, reading in groups. Various games especially traditional games were played. The goal is to change mindsets make children realise the importance of education, peaceful living within communities.The games that the children are engaged in are tailored to include both boys and girls.The aim here is to build cohesive society.
As we move on towards the end of the year we aim to cement our mission of bringing change through sports and education.
