During the month so of September activities of reading and counting were scaled up within our "Beautiful Spaces" / "Izindawo ezinhle " rural Child Centers. Our goal of promoting cohesive communities and environments so us imparting invaluable lessons in climate change adaptation , conservation and culture as a community building tool. We thank all those who have assisted us in various ways. Your assistance is surely putting smiles on vulnerable children s lives. Nosiswe 10 years old from Zibawini village has this to say : since I started attending lifeskills training and academic lessons in One of Phakama-Sukuma Community Development Trust s spaces I have seen improvement in many areas. I now understand my rights , I have improved academically. Spending the day and time with other children from other areas I'd quite exciting. We are also taught to stay away from drugs and alcohol so that we become better leaders and parents of tomorrow.
