The new school term brings excitement, hope and joy to children around the world. But in Zimbabwe today, for many it will bring sorrow and disappointment. Family survival is a full-time struggle - in a country recently ranked one of the ten most difficult places to live in the world.
School fees must be paid each term, or the child will be sent home, where they become at risk of falling prey to bad actors.
