ASAP Zimbabwe are working with the community leaders to tackle the root causes, challenges and inequalities that children face. It goes without saying that the ignorant persons cannot exercise their rights and are vulnerable to exploitation.
Unemployment, poor social services provisions and high rates of deaths have left many children in abusive situations and many without parents. They say "it takes a village to raise a child", this has not been easily applicable to economic situations. If children are failed now, we can guarantee generations of dependant individuals and poor national development. If third world countries are not given a chance to implement developmental changes then developed nations will always need to give aide.
The educational project aims at giving children safe environment to access education, reduce the number displaced children from the streets where they are vulnerable to drugs, crime and sexual exploitation.
There is hope in giving, their success will breed more success and improve for the next generation..
