Founded in 2011, KISMOS is dedicated to the overarching goal to educate, empower, women and homeless children in Masaka City, Masaka District Uganda acting as a partner and advocate to ensure that they have the basic human resources necessary to reach their full potential and to be successful KISMOS currently working with Nyendo Mukungwe Division and beyond to create healthy self- sustaining families in order to eliminate hardships of poverty. Working with the local government officials, community leaders and people of Nyendo Mukungwe, KISMOS helps the homeless youth, orphans, financially depressed families at risk with in the community. KISMOS seeks to create a healthy educational environment that will support the development of the whole child.
Our Programs
a) EDUCATION 1)SMART P/S We have been educating a number of weaker sections belonging to the underprivileged class of Nyendo especially the homeless on a small budget for 11years despite our challenges at Smart P/S (Under the leadership of Mackay and Sophia). Due to COVID-19 lockdown in Uganda and (the entire world) major issues of education arose in and our enrollment dropped to 60 students, land conflicts and later a closure of the school due to the stumbling blocks which we could not manage for we were renting and with your support we are able to impact the community now the school is rebranded to Kisswa Minds Orphanage School .
11) Kisswa Minds Education Fund (KMEF) Scholarships are available to high performing students and the underprivileged from Nyendo areas who would be otherwise be unable to continue their education due to financial hardships.

b) Continuing students
1 Beatrice (S.4) was studying, at Nyendo Mixed Senior Secondary changed school to Nserester Complex Vocational Senior Secondary School.
2. Bernadette (S.4) studies at Numasa Senior Secondary School
3. Tonny (S.4) studies at Nyendo Mixed Senior Secondary school. 4. Joanita studies at Kiti Secondary School -Lukaya
5. Veronica, (Vacation) studied Uganda Martyrs Senior Secondary School -Buyoga
6. Angel studies at St. Noa Girls Secondary School -Zana
7.Maria studies at St. Kizito Namagoma Primary School-Kalungu
8. Augustine (S.2) studies at St. Anthony’s Kayunga Secondary School
9.Peace studies at Garden K. Groove College Buddo.
10.Mugagga studies at Bright High School
11. Angella (S.4 Vacation) studied at St. Kalemba Senior Secondary School.
We are educating a number of weaker sections belonging to the underpriviledged class of Nyendo not limited to the homeless on a small budget for a number of years and scholarships are available those who would be otherwise be unable to continue their education due to financial hardships. A liitle difference at atime helps us make a difference in the communities we serve with gifts from people like you.
