When an Orphan Knows Someone Is There

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

Do you ever have moments when the world feels heavier than usual? Moments when all you need is someone to listen, a reassuring word, or a hand reaching out to say: You are not alone.

Sometimes, a kind word or simply knowing that someone cares can be enough to help us regain our strength and keep moving forward.

Many orphaned children need that same sense of support.

Losing one or both parents does not only mean losing someone deeply loved. It can leave a child facing emotions and experiences far beyond their years, while still trying to learn, grow, and build a future.

This is where your support makes a meaningful difference.

Through your generosity, orphaned students at Masarat receive more than an opportunity to learn. They find people who accompany them along the way, help them discover their abilities, build confidence, and recognize that their future can still be filled with possibility.

Because of your support, we can provide education that expands their knowledge, guidance that helps them find their direction, activities that create space for expression and discovery, psychosocial support that strengthens their sense of safety, and vocational training that can help them become more independent in the future.

In this way, your generosity becomes part of a child’s journey—from feeling that they must face life alone to knowing that someone believes in them and wants to see them move forward.

Thank you for being that source of support, and for reminding an orphaned child through your generosity that they are not alone—and that their dreams are still worth pursuing.
