Sometimes, the most powerful support begins with a simple question: How can I be there for someone who is hurting?
At Masarat, students are learning that care is not only something they receive. It is also something they can offer to others with awareness, respect, and kindness.
Through psychological first aid, students begin to understand how to listen without judgment, respond with calm, respect privacy, and offer reassurance to someone going through a difficult moment. They learn that a gentle word, patient listening, and a safe presence can help ease fear and remind a person that they are not alone.
For orphan students and young people affected by hardship, this learning has a deep meaning. Many of them know what fear, loss, and uncertainty feel like. When they gain tools to support others, they begin to see themselves not only as survivors of difficult experiences, but as people who can bring comfort, stability, and hope to their families and communities.
This kind of education builds empathy and responsibility. It helps students understand that helping others does not always require big actions. Sometimes, it begins by noticing pain, listening with care, and responding with humanity.
Your support helps make this possible.
Because of your generosity, students at Masarat are learning how to become a safe presence for others in difficult times.
Thank you for helping kindness become knowledge, and knowledge become care.
