For a child living through loss, displacement, and uncertainty, a story can become more than words on a page. It can offer comfort, open a window of imagination, and help the child see a part of themselves in someone who overcomes challenges.
At Masarat, we encourage students to read, discuss, ask questions, and reflect on the ideas they encounter. Through reading, students are not only building language skills. They are learning how to think critically, express their opinions, listen to others, and understand values that can guide them in life.
For orphan students and children affected by crisis, this kind of learning can be deeply meaningful. A story may help them name their feelings, imagine a different future, or believe that change is still possible. With every discussion, they gain more confidence. With every idea they share, they begin to see that their voice matters.
Your support helps make these learning experiences possible.
Because of your generosity, students at Masarat can continue finding safe spaces to read, think, speak, and grow. You are helping them build not only knowledge, but also confidence, awareness, and hope.
Thank you for helping students discover the power of reading.
