Your support may begin by giving a student access to education, but the most beautiful thing about giving is that its impact does not end with that student.
At Masarat, we are witnessing how students who began their journey with us because someone believed in them can grow into university students with bigger dreams—and then return to give others what they once received.
They are no longer simply recipients of support. They become volunteers, peer mentors, and partners in creating change.
Take Abdulrahim as an example.
He began his journey at Masarat as a student. Today, after moving on to university, he has returned as a volunteer and events coordinator, helping share the stories of change he once experienced and supporting students who are now where he once was.
He now stands where you once stood when you chose to support him: reaching out to someone else and, in his own way, saying, “I believe in you because someone once believed in me.”
And this is where the deeper meaning of your support lies.
You are not simply giving a student a lesson whose impact ends when the lesson is over. You are helping build a capable person—and when that person grows stronger, they can return and open doors for others.
This is how hope moves from one student to another, from one generation to the next, and from one helping hand to another hand that is now able to give.
This is the sustainability we dream of at Masarat: a student who once received support becoming someone who can one day give it to others.
Because of your support, we are not only helping students build their own futures. We are helping them become part of building the futures of others.
Thank you for not only helping a student move forward… but for helping them become, one day, the reason someone else can move forward too.
