Graduated: Equipping the Next Generation

By Lily Brink | Fundraising Manager

Graduation 2026
Graduation 2026

Last Tuesday, we celebrated the graduation of students from the Kokrobite and Langma government schools who successfully completed their Junior High School education and final examinations. After finishing the Grow Ghana lessons and modules in communication skills, Scratch, and LibreOffice, the students proudly received their certificates.

While it was emotional to say goodbye, we are proud to have equipped this generation with essential IT skills that will help shape their future. Many of the graduates hope to continue their education at technical senior high schools, where they can further develop their talents and interests. In Ghana, senior high schools often specialize in different sectors, and these digital skills will give the students a strong foundation for future learning and employment opportunities. Their classroom experience is already translating into practical, employable skills.

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to continue providing lessons for students who might otherwise have been left behind. Your contributions made it possible for them to gain hands-on experience with laptops and to learn in classrooms with enough devices for everyone to participate fully.

Now, we are preparing to welcome a new group of students in just a few weeks, and we are excited to begin this journey with them. Together, we can continue empowering the next generation with the tools and confidence they need for the digital future.

Will you join us on this new journey? We hope so!
