During the second term period, six volunteer teachers and seven mentors were engaged in the six partner schools with the aim of teaching and guiding students towards improved academic standards and constructive life. Teaching program took place every day from Monday to Friday for the 4 months period and the mentorship program placed volunteer mentors once a week to hold sessions on different topics every week.
Because of your support, students from Ruaraka informal schools continue to receive quality education. All six schools that your funds have helped provide extra teachers reported that the volunteer teachers are working hard and easing the work load. A lot of the head teachers have said that the support given by Progressive Volunteers and driven by you has motivated the staff and students.
If you educate a generation, they will reward you with peace, health, and prosperity. An educated child is more likely to secure a job, stay healthy, and contribute to their community throughout their life. This project positively impacts on the education of over 300 needy students and helping them reach their potential.
Thank you for joining us in this noble cause!
