1. Project Overview
QUARTERLY PERFORMANCE & NARRATIVE REPORT: Educate 200 rural children.
District: Zombo District Local Government
Reporting Period: Current Quarter (June-September 2026)
2. Executive Summary
In the current quarter, Hope Vineyard Foundation Uganda focused heavily on mitigating barriers to basic education, primarily targeting school enrollments, infrastructural improvements, and curbing high dropout rates linked to early pregnancies. Out of an estimated 80,000 primary school-aged children, cumulative enrolments stand at 63,590 (79.4%) (statistics sourced from the Zombo district local government). Key achievements included the community-led sensitization on child protection. However, systemic gaps—such as an inadequate pupil-to-textbook ratio and teacher staffing constraints—continue to present hurdles to achieving optimal Primary Leaving Examination and Uganda Certificate of Education performance indices across the Zombo district.
