Educate 200 Needy Children in Njiru, Nairobi-Kenya

Ever since Family Hope Community Center was founded, way back in 2015, 147 children from poorest families have benefitted from free basic primary education and are now in their first terms in secondary schools. Our aim was, is and still remains seeing them through secondary as well as tertiary education. Besides, we have another batch of 100 children who are working towards pursuing primary education. Most of whom are very bright, talented and absolutely focused. It's so beautiful to see them brave the morning chill of June and July, which are the coldest months in Nairobi, to seek knowledge in schools. It is even heartwarming to hear them share their dreams of becoming doctors, teachers, engineers, architects, bankers 'inter alia'. All these are dreams that will one day be realities. Family Hope learning center is the vehicle that drives these children expeditiously towards their dreams. Our volunteer teachers are the co- drivers while the children themselves are the drivers. Our work will be, and has always been to give every support necessary to the realization of the many dreams of our children. Every year comes with it's challenges, financial constraints will always be here with us and that's precisely why we are forever grateful to you for giving a helping dollar to keep the project going. We are doing yearly cycle admissions for needy children within Njiru. Our capacity lays constraint on the number of children we can contain at a given time. We would wish to have as many as 200 every year. The project " Educate 200-needy-children-in-njiru-nairobi" aims at this. Securing funds to set up a permanent place remains at top gear and prime priority. We still have a huge deficit but we believe everything is possible.
