Project Report | Dec 22, 2020
In This Festive Season

By Elly Odoyo Musa | Project Leader

Merry Christmas and happy new year to you our partner and friend. It's been a tough year but we are glad God has seen you through it. Running projects at Family Hope Community Centre in the year 2020 has been absolutely wonderful with you as a friend and  partner. Every dollar you have spared to help FHCC programs have done big stuff over the year.

This is an overview of the progress you have been part of at FHCC:

1. Upgrading to 3 bowled- toilets from a single pit latrine.

2. Upgrading from operating in a church hall as a single classroom to having 6 classrooms for the school project.

3. Moving from using one corner in a classroom as an office to having a full and separate staff room for the teachers.

4. FHCC moved from buying water in tins daily to having piped and clean water within the school's premises.

5. Moving from a no compound to a slighly larger space with lots of room for practical science and agricultural lessons.

Nothing of this magnitude would have happened without your support through the year 2020. The project which is active on GlobalGiving is not fully funded, but our hearts are full of your love. Well, we've  received a lot from an anonymous partner, and we wish to send our sincere gratitude to you too.

Much still need to be done. A lot of deficit still needs to be bridged. Nonetheless, we appeal to you to never stress yourself out for now, just have a happy festive season. You have done us great and it's time you enjoy and have fun, regardless of how tough the Covid-19 measures may be wherever you are. Find peace, joy and love inbuilt and spread the love. Merry Christmas and Happy new year! We love you!
