Dear Well Wishers and Friends of APD,

The Association for People with Disability (APD) is a non-profit organisation based in Bangalore. APD runs the Shradhanjali Integrated School (SIS) since 1973  - that takes in young children with disabilities and transforms their lives.  SIS gives wings to their dreams . SIS has transformed lives of many children &  they have gone on to become successful doctors, IT professionals, engineers and most importantly - Confident and Independent citizens.

Please find below few activities of SIS for the month of April , May and June 2017.

From 15th to 19th May, 14 teachers underwent a training regarding deaf education with regards to special classroom arrangements needed and teaching methodology required.

June  2016

The school re-opened on 01st June for the academic year 2017 - 18. 5th June was observed as World Environment Day with various activities aimed at increasing awareness and the importance of conserving the environment.   23rd and 24th June were exciting days for the children as a special Talent's Day programme was conducted were the children could showcase their talents in singing, dancing, art and various sports.
