By Lou Billett | Chair, African Angels
As a supporter of African Angels, we are so proud to share our latest news. We have started a Social Enterprise, right in the heart of Chintsa East Village, where we are employing women to make washable sanitary pads. We have been accepted as an Enterprise Partner by the international organisation, Days for Girls International, and we are producing these beautiful washable pads and Kits according to the Days for Girls US patented pattern, and standards.
There are only upsides to our Enterprise.
Creating employment for local women.
Advancing menstrual equity for girls and women who cannot afford sanitary pads.
Reducing plastic pollution with a sustainable (and beautiful) product.
Supporting education at the African Angels School, as a portion of every purchase is donated to the school.
Please watch our awesome video, and share on through your social media.

We want to donate 10 000 kits to 10 000 girls in need in South Africa by the end of 2022. Help us reach that target by sharing our latest fundraising project through GlobalGiving.
