Grace, our inaugural scholarship recipient, is in her final semester of training to become a certified Early Childhood Development (ECD) Montessori teacher. She recently began a two-week teaching practicum at Corner of Hope Montessori School in Nakuru, Kenya. This hands-on experience will allow her to apply the theoretical knowledge gained in her coursework, honing her teaching skills and preparing her for a successful transition into the job market.
During her practicum, Grace is continously demonstrating her ability to engage young learners effectively, fostering a nurturing and dynamic classroom environment. This opportunity has been instrumental in refining her pedagogical techniques and building her confidence as an educator. As she approaches the completion of her certification in August 2025, Grace is well-equipped to embark on her professional journey as a qualified Montessori teacher, contributing to the development of early childhood education in her community.
