Dear [donor first name],
You are part of all these recent achievements that I share in this report. Every meal, every teacher, every bed, every health check, every opportunity our supporters make possible strengthens the network of care around each girl and the recognition of success the school has received. Thank you for caring for each girl with us.
From Students to Staff: Coming Full Circle
We are delighted to celebrate two DWS alumnae who recently graduated from university. Wimonrat Phanasai earned her bachelor's degree in Chinese Language, graduating with Second-Class Honors from Muban Chombueng Rajabhat University. Waranthorn Rattanasiriphat graduated in English Language from Chiang Mai Rajabhat University.
What is most heartwarming is that both have returned to DWS as staff members. They are now part of a growing group of 20 alumni working at the school. Having once received the care, education, and encouragement of DWS, they understand the journey of our students and will help from their own experience to provide that same support to the next generation of girls.
Honoring 36 Years of Dedication and Educational Innovation
Our School Director, Dr. Aunampai Passakchai, was recently recognized by Thailand's Ministry of Education through its Good Person Challenge: A Good Person Worth Celebrating initiative. The honor recognizes integrity, ethical leadership, transparency, and service.
For 36 years, Dr. Passakchai has devoted herself to building a school where strong values and genuine care are at the heart of education.
Her work is also reflected in the ASSIST Model, developed through years of experience supporting girls facing difficult circumstances. This approach helps each student grow academically, emotionally, and personally. It has now received recognition from the Ministry of Education as an innovative model that can benefit the wider educational community.
Enjoy a description of the ASSIST Model here.
At the All for Education Expo in Ratchaburi, DWS also received a Certificate of Recognition for Collaboration and Participation. We are grateful to see the school's work and commitment acknowledged and shared with others.
Our Girls Shine at the Education Fair
At the Ratchaburi Private Education Fair in September, our students proudly displayed their many talents. They participated in the "Learn to Earn" skills fair, performed Western and traditional Thai music, and gave an energetic Muay Thai demonstration.
The Muay Thai performance received special praise for celebrating Thai culture, confidence, and teamwork. Enjoy the Performance here.
The day brought more good news as Dr. Passakchai received an Outstanding School Administrator Award, while teachers and students were also recognized for their accomplishments.
Learning to Care for Our Environment
In September, our high school students enjoyed a wonderful opportunity to learn beyond the classroom as they took part in a hands-on environmental learning day focused on mangrove restoration and protecting native shellfish. They planted mangrove trees, released shellfish into the ecosystem, and explored recycling, eco-printing, local herbs, and creative ways to reuse natural materials.
Building a Safer, More Peaceful Society
Teachers and Student Council members participated in safety training that included first aid and CPR. These practical skills help prepare our school community to respond with greater confidence and care when emergencies arise.
We also celebrated the International Day of Peace, reflecting on the theme, "Investing in Peace: For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day."
At DWS, peace is not just an idea. Students meditate together twice daily, developing inner calm and awareness that they can carry into their relationships and everyday lives. We believe this simple, regular practice is one way our girls can contribute to a more peaceful world.
Our Gratitude
Again and again, we wish to thank you for your compassion, support, and care that has contributed greatly to making Dhammajarinee what it is today.
