Thank you for being a life-changing influence in the future of all the girls at Dhammajarinee and their collective impact on the entire region. We are happy to share some recent news.

Helping Others and Growing in Leadership

Dhammajarinee senior students organized a day of fun learning activities and a special meal with fruit for 79 young students grades K through 6 in a remote provincial charity school. The students made presentations on Thai, English, and Chinese language and art. All the activities brought great joy to the participants. These events culture leadership and planning skills for the Dhammajarinee seniors and inspire them to provide opportunities for others. (More photos below)

Open Approach to Mathematics Workshop

The Institute for Research and Development in Teaching Profession for ASEAN at Khon Kaen University, one of the most prestigious universities in Thailand, conducted a program for teachers and students in the Open Approach to Mathematics. Originating in Japan, the Open Approach to Mathematics fosters creative problem-solving and makes learning mathematics fun. This training is part of an initiative to expand STEM in the school.

Meeting our year-end goal

The Dhammajarinee academic year ends in April. We need everyone’s help to meet the yearly student expenses of the expanded student body. From 3–7 April, donations up to $50 will be matched 50%. Every donation helps! Larger donations give much-needed momentum to reach the required $43,000 target.

Stand by for more details coming at the start of the campaign. Please consider helping and spreading the word.

Ever grateful for being a part of this with you,

Linda Wagoner for Dhammajarinee School
