The Thai Government provides the school with an annual budget for two "Student Development Activities". This year the school chose one project focused on the environmental and another on kindergarten development.
Mangrove Planting
The school took 124 students, grades 10 and 11, to Khlong Khon Mangrove Forest Conservation Center, Samut Songkhram Province. The students helped plant a mangrove forest as part of a social service project to protect coastal defenses, create a biomass energy source, and provide food and natural habitats for plants and animals.
Kindergartener Development
A one-day camp was conducted for 99 kindergarteners and pre-school children. The goal was to systematically develop the youngsters skills and confidence through a series of tested games that included physical, emotional, social, and intellectual activities.
Trafficking Seminar
132 Dhammajarinee students from grade 8 participated in a social media training course given by the province’s Social Development and Human Security Department.
The course was titled “Prevention and Solution to the Problems of Human Trafficking”. The purpose of the seminar was to make the students aware of the dangers of human trafficking, including how to deal with any potential hazardous situations in the present or in future, and how they and their communities can prevent trafficking.
