According to UNESCO, there are currently 372,000 students enrolled in upper secondary school in Zimbabwe. Of these, only 3% (23,000) complete or graduate from the final year of their secondary education. Although the Zimbabwean government is working diligently to support students attain education, many students still face challenges accessing education resources. This project will focus on students in Harare Province and hopes to benefit 500-2,500 students over the next 3 years.
The project will provide students with resources to help them access higher education and career opportunities through mentoring and access to learning resources.Students will have access to our network of over 2,000 mentors globally, who are available to provide students with education support. In addition, students will have access to resume development sessions, college application support, career advisement, and technology access.
The project will provide mentorship and access to learning resources to 500-2,500 students in Harare over the next 3 years that can enable them to create a better life for themselves and others.
