Activity Name: Establishment of Coffee Nursery for Production

Tribes and Natures Defenders together with the community, clans and elders were happy about the past activities of establishing the coffee nursery to plant more coffees and distribute it to the tribal farmers.

We germinated 10,000 coffee seeds that cater the needs of the tribal farmers. The year 2023 was great for us and now the year of 2024 will be more great for the  community to establish green economy through coffee production. 

The purpose of the coffee production is to give hope of the the indigenous peoples to fight poverty, protect the rainforest and stop the entry of the loggers and miners through this project of creating green economy for the safety of the rainforest and indigenous peoples.

The funds from GlobalGiving had been used to buy materials of the nursery, labor cost and seeds costs. It was very succesfull that we established coffee nursery for the tribal economy. Thank you so much, GlobalGiving and kind donors.
