Report for projects progresses 24th Feb 2014.
We are so grateful that all the children have gone back to school in time with all what they needed for their schooling.
With funds we received on 10th Jan 2014 US $ 12,000 greatly helped us send back children to school thank you much for wonderful support.
Between 24th and 30th Jan 2014 we purchased and distributed the scholastics to the Children registered with RARUDO across its project areas, while the uniforms were being sewn and were given out on
10th Feb 2014 at Nambogo, Tororo and Amonikakinei, on 18th Feb 2014 at Busia and Bugiri.
This 1st term, year 2014 about 50 young girls turned up for Vocational skill training but we were un able to give them all the skills they wanted to learn due to lack of some equipment and training materials. The women are planning for this planting season but they don’t have enough /improved vegetable seeds.
If we can provide them with the improved seeds and some few training materials and a few machines like over lock machine, Button and button holler machine, Designing machine, hand sewing for the disabled etc at least it would make thing work for us somehow.
The trainees and group members are ready to meet the cost of facilitating the trainers during the learning secession.
Thanks and sincere regards.
