Note: Malaria has hospitalized most of our team leaders in the region. It is a very virulent type and requires hospitalization. One of our leaders lost her 45 year old son due to treatment coming too late. Kenya and Eastern Uganda are also dealing with swarms of locusts destroying crops.
Happy New Year,
I have taken long to communicate due to the problem I had but I am improving.
I would just like to explain to you briefly on our status. We last received money last December worthy UG. Shs. 14,000,000 before we received information on the expenditure we had to withdraw part of it Ushs 1,200,000/= for Blandina’s sickness. She had been admitted and she had no food. Unless we give her money she goes without food and drugs are got on credit.
Then, after hearing from you we again sat and withdraw Ushs. 11,000,000/= Ushs and spent as follows. Bank 1800, 000/=
Tororo 1,700,000/=
Bugiri 1,700,000/=
Amonika 1,700,000/=
Rwen 1,700,000/=
We decide as four groups to buy food for the children to begin the year having sent the budget to you in case funds are realized then other items will be bought like scholastic materials and uniforms then part of the money for the food will be saved for term 2 if funds realized as budgeted for.
We left Ushs 18, 000,000/= on the account for emergencies
As I write we have very little on our account
We are the care givers.
God bless you
