Thanks to our generous contributors that help us help our local JA Areas continue to support America's young people through JA Programs! Our volunteer-delivered, K-12 programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to imspire kids to dream big and reach their potential. Their success bolsters the local workforce and contributes to economic growth.
In the 2011-2012 school year, JA impacted more than 4.2 million U.S. students in over 183,000 classrooms, with the help of more than 187,000 volunteers, 120 JA area offices, 1,500 staff members, 4,700 local board members and 28 National Board directors; representing a 4.8% increase in students reached.
