A warm thank you from White Lion territories

Dear donor,

You are making a difference. Our young friend Justice Sambo is just one example.

Justice is a shining example of emerging grass-roots leadership. He is proud to lead a generation of youth to become guardians of their cultural heritage. Justice is just one of thousands of vulnerable children who joined our StarLion Eco-Cubs program at the founding stages more than nine years back. As a child of only seven, he mustered up enough courage to step into the part of Nelson Mandela in a White Lion cultural performance, without any training, when the lead actor was unavailable during a rehearsal. Shortly after, he was given the opportunity to play Nelson Mandela in front of Nelson Mandela himself! Since then, Justice has never looked back, and now, in his final school year, he has been awarded a scholarship to attend a youth leadership program in the USA.

Your donation makes it possible not just to impact youth like Justice at all levels within Tsonga and Sepedi communities, but create countless other opportunity in the region. Harmony, Eco-Cultural Officer, Tokozo Mnisi, StarLion Ambassador Team Leader, and Hilda, Marriam, Cynthia, Nelson and Dabrother, StarLion Ambassadors, have all been placed in positions where their work is making a lasting impact in their communities. Harmony and Tokozo have received training they would not have the opportunity to participate in without this program. Program staff are able to visit each of the five centers three times a week and an exciting new program called TreePreneurs was just rolled out this year. Trees are being planted, recycling efforts are gaining widespread momentum and seeds are being collected and planted by Ambassadors.

We cannot thank you enough for supporting this life impacting project! Please continue to do so and share the good news with your family and friends so we can make a greater impact in these beautiful communities.

Sending you all lion roars from the breathtaking White Lion homelands of South Africa,

The StarLion EcoCubs Team
