We are so grateful to you, our many donors for giving funds to our end-of-year campaign in 2016. So far we have used the funds to purchase much needed acupuncture needle, herbs, sheets, and moxabustion for our new volunteers who will arrive in the clinic soon. In the meantime, the clinic itself is very close to being finished! An openign ceremony is planned for mid-April and we expect local staff to be seeing patients in the clinc for basic medical care shortly after that.
In August, our next volunteer, Polet Loynaz will be arriving in Nepal to spend two months treating patients daily. The people of Chanauti are anxiously awaiting her arrival in Septement. Polet graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a Master's in Oriental Medicine. She has been in practice in San Diego ever since. We know Polet will do a wonderful job caring for our patients in Chanauti and we are so grateful for her time of service.
Mason Stabler, our most recent volunteer who spent a busy three months in Chanauti Nepal, has made it back safely to the U.S. and is starting work on his private practice. He is currently working with alumni volunteer, Bonnie Paisley to revise the herbal clinic in Chanauti to better serve our patients.
Once again we thank you for all your geneorus support and donations. We couldn't do this work without you.
Thank you!
