Global Giving Report 2016

Global Reach International has been working with the people of Nepal to rebuild from the earthquake. This past November we sent Global Reach International volunteer Ron Stella to Nepal to film the progress of our jobs. We have over 50 hours of video footage which we will be putting together in the coming months to show people the progress of out projects. Ron not only filmed our projects, but also volunteered his time to work on two of the schools that Global Reach International built this past year. Please see some of the photos from his recent trip. We plan on showcasing the film in April for all our donors and future donors to see.

From our recent trip, Ron Stella has informed us that most people who were living in temporary shelters that Global Reach International built are now living back in their homes. We also found that most people are using the wells that we built. Kathmandu has a problem with water. These wells were a much-needed relief for people using them.

The schools we have built are functioning well. Our second school needs water on site. We are in the process of discussing the costs and getting approvals to bring water to this school.

On Monday board member Mike Cassidy traveled to Nepal to start his three-month volunteer trip. He will be disbursing funds to projects for those effected by the earthquake. In general, everyone in the country of Nepal was effected by the earthquake.

Mike will be sending reports weekly to Global Reach International on the progress of fund distribution. We are still planning on building our third school was we get approval from the Nepal government.

Thanks,

Bill
