By Bill Sansone | Project Leader
Global Reach International is sending a volunteer to Nepal next week. He will be staying in Nepal for a month volunteering his time for the organization. While in Nepal, we will be producing a video of all the projects we have been supporting. This video will be used to further our efforts to raise money for people who were affected by the earthquake.
In the last three months, Global Reach International has given money to support four orphanages, 10 children living in two rooms, an eye hospital, and a home for disabled children. We are in the process of preparing to build our third school that was destroyed by the earthquake.
The 10 children living in 2 rooms used to live in an orphanage that was destroyed by the earthquake. There are no plans of now to rebuild the orphanage. We are in the process of looking for a new location for these children.
We are also helping with food distributing at St. Debi’s Hostel. This is a Christian school in Kathmandu that Global Reach International has been supporting for the past ten years. Please visit our website, www.globalreachinternational.org to watch a video about the school.
For the next month, Global Reach International will be sending reports from the filed in Nepal to all our donors. We hope to have the film complete by January. Once complete we will post the film on Global Giving for our donors to review. Thank You again for your support.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
