A devastating earthquake has left families in Kunar Province with nothing. Entire villages lie in ruins, and survivors grieve loved ones lost. Our volunteer team has worked tirelessly-often 22 hours straight-to deliver complete relief packages: solar panels, batteries, blankets, food, and medical aid. With 35 households identified as most affected, we are providing immediate relief while preparing for longer-term recovery.
Families face unimaginable loss, many mourning two or more loved ones. Homes are destroyed, leaving survivors exposed as winter approaches. Basic needs-shelter, water, and light-are scarce. The remote, mountainous terrain makes access difficult, slowing aid delivery. Communities are left vulnerable to hunger, illness, and despair without immediate, coordinated support.
We are delivering critical supplies directly to families: solar panels, batteries, blankets, lights, food, and medical care. Our volunteer team, on the ground despite challenging conditions, ensures aid reaches even remote villages. By identifying the 35 most-affected households, we provide targeted, immediate relief while laying the groundwork for rebuilding safe homes and restoring community dignity.
Beyond urgent relief, this project will help families recover and rebuild. Restoring safe housing, providing light and power, and supporting education will strengthen resilience. By working with survivors and local partners, we ensure aid is relevant and sustainable. Families will not only regain stability but also build stronger, safer communities prepared for future disasters.
